an astounding nutrition program based on acid/alkaline balance;
and guidelines for the correct choices to make in the Six Essentials for Life
Your Choices Mater
The choices you make in six essential areas determine whether
you follow a lifestyle that results in permanent good health
or one that can lead to distress, illness, depression …
an unbalanced system that leads to disease.
What you eat
Your diet should consist of approximately 75% fruits and vegetables
and 25% everything else.
This keeps your body alkaline (its natural state) instead of acidic.
It is in this state your body is most able to fight injury and disease.
What you drink
Avoid stimulants such as coffee and alcohol.
Drink mostly fruit juices and pure water.
Reverse Osmosis water is recommended.
How you exercise
Get 30 minutes of whole body exercise three times a week. Help your body stay flexible. You’ll be surprised at how good it feels and how the tendency to suffer injuries is reduced.
How you rest
Good sleep every night (6-8 hours) is essential to your body’s ability to heal and recharge itself. Avoid stimulants and heavy meals before you go to sleep.
What and how you breathe
You should breathe from your abdomen, not raising and lowering your shoulders with each breath. Clean, smoke-free air is also essential to permanent good health. If you can smell the air you breathe, it is probably not healthy.
What you think
Choices in this area are more important than all the other areas combined!
Negative thinking, judgment, indecisiveness, and worry
all build up over time and wear your body down.
Think about what you think about, and focus on more positive, loving thinking.
pH and your health
You can test the pH of any fluid in your body by using pH paper. When the pH paper gets wet, the paper changes color to show the degree of acidity or alkalinity.
The pH scale ranges from 0-14. 0-6.9 is acid, 7 being neutral, and 7.1-14 is alkaline.
We recommend checking your saliva and urine pH once a week. Saliva pH checks how your body is handling stress (especially emotional stress). Urine pH checks how your body is handling your current diet.
Breathing Awareness
Everything that we live for is reflected in our breath and therefore it is quite often that we will hear people say things like "I feel pressure in my chest,"
or "I feel suffocated," or "I don't have time to even breathe"
Without even knowing it consciously, we speak of our breath.
But in our bodies, we breathe very little and quite badly.
The good news is, this can be changed easily and quickly.
In the same way that the tensions of life can generate tensions in our bodies, and our breath, when we develop a conscious breath, we become relaxed in our body and our mind. This will show up in all the areas of our lives.
The effects of the breathing portion of The Lifessence Technique is deeply therapeutic and can bring forward relief from respiratory dysfunction, stress, anxiety, phobias, panic and other imbalances in our bodies.
However, what moves us to teach these techniques are the frequent stories of relief, general feelings of well being, a growing understanding of themselves, acceptance from within and from others, and an understanding of their personal energy and deepening meditative states.
During a breathing session of Lifessence, you focus totally and completely on a deep inhale. A deep breath that so fills your lungs that all you have to do to exhale is allow it to happen. No effort is necessary. The air simply falls out of your body. Then you immediately, meaning without any pause between exhale and inhale, fill your lungs to capacity. Repeating this powerful inhale and relaxed exhale is what is called the Circle Breath. This simple pattern of deep inhale and relaxed exhale is all that is needed to make remarkable changes.
Following a session of breathing is a time of relaxation and allowing your breathing to return to a soft and comfortable state. Then we will discuss your experience and have a little tea and some cookies.
The total time for a breathing session should be about two hours, and this can be an individual or group session. The environment of groups can induce a different state of relaxation, emotional, or mental perceptions.

“Singing and dancing is part of our most natural and ancient way of celebrating life.”
